"This is a painting featuring the sacred mountains of Taos, NM. These two riders are wearing Navajo Sarapes. A lot of trade was happening back in the late 1800’s and owning a piece of Navajo weaving was a really important thing that you get to be proud of. These two Pueblos native are proudly roaming around on a beautiful evening in the Taos valley."
