Silence of the Canyon Walls

The original painting is 40 x 40 Inches, oil on linen.  Painted in 2022 it was part of Mark's solo show at Legacy Gallery in March 2023.

“The Grand Canyon at night under a bright moon is a sight to see. The silence of the immensity is haunting. I always liked to paint riders on the edge of a cliff. It’s a classic theme that never gets old to me. The dramatic view is always a perfect background to create an incredible depth. The rider on the painting is my friend Beau Ellis a cowboy from Arizona and his horse Floyd."
