"If life is a book, those who do not explore unknown lands only read the first page. Whoever we are, and wherever we come from, we must wake up every morning with the conviction that everything is possible, that we can use this day to make a difference in our world. This painting is a metaphor for this idea, these characters who set out on an adventure, with the desire to discover new paths, to create them, to shape them, so that others can then follow them and rise too.
