In the Middle Runs a River

The original painting is 36 x 32 Inches, oil on linen, and was shown at Mark's solo show at Legacy Gallery in Scottsdale in March 2023.

"I am always astonished and fascinated when I stand at about 5000 feet above sea level and look down at the Colorado river. From the top of the red cliffs of Canyonland, Utah, the sight of this tiny little stripe has a magical and mystical tone to it. It seems to be running quietly in slow motion."
