Along The Colorado

The original painting is 16 x 20, oil on linen.

"Another piece who shows a tiny bit of the Colorado river. This was a morning in October 2018. We were out by the Vermillion Cliffs with a group of cowboys to take reference photos for the weekend. It was raining and the atmosphere was incredible. The guys took their horses in the water and we did some great photos. But for some reason the one I choose to paint was this simple, although iconic silhouette of Beau Ellis, riding along the river. The original is a small piece so the print is small too. I really like it."
